Wanted: We are looking for a brilliant, experienced Chief Revenue Officer to join the Upright team as we are gearing up for our next growth phase. Impact data is becoming increasingly central in business decision-making and Upright's data is trusted by 200+ institutional investment organizations and corporations, predominantly in Europe and Northern America. We are now looking for a stellar CRO with experience of building and leading a revenue generation engine for an international SaaS business to join Upright.
The CRO will be responsible for leading the sales and marketing engine at Upright. They will work closely with Upright’s CEO and other leaders in refining the company’s go-to-market strategy and solving for various creative paths to unlock growth. The CRO will own the entire revenue generation engine, from setting the right KPIs to reaching the goals together with the team. To succeed in this role, a combination of hands-on attitude and smart strategic vision is needed. Additionally, the CRO will be responsible for reporting the progress to the company leadership and board.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Functional responsibility for the whole revenue generation engine and outcomes
- Owning Upright’s go-to-market strategy and execution across different customer segments
- Owning Upright’s growth metrics, forecasting and reporting
- Leading the sales and marketing team
SIGNS FOR BEING A GREAT MATCH WITH THIS ROLE INCLUDE:
- Solid experience in leading sales/revenue generation in an international SaaS growth company
- Excellent understanding of SaaS KPIs and metrics for growth
- Experience in leading successful sales-focused teams
- Solid track record of internal passion for excellence: you have gotten things done clearly better than what was required/expected from you
- Sense of urgency and drive to get the job done
- Exceptional communication skills in English, both spoken and written
