YOUR PROFILE

•Degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline

•Solid experience in FPGA and/or ASIC development, especially design

•Strong command of HDL languages (SystemVerilog and VHDL)

•Experience with synthesis and implementation flows

•Familiarity with simulation tools and timing analysis

•Practical experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

•Confident in collaborating with architecture, algorithm, and software teams

•Ideally, knowledge of various FPGA families (e.g., Xilinx, Intel/Altera, Lattice, Efinix)

•Experience with ASIC design processes is a strong plus

•Interest in multidisciplinary systems including batteries, power electronics, and embedded control

•Self-driven, curious, and motivated to co-create the next-generation of embedded power systems

•A passion for exploring Europractice or other prototyping programs – because maybe your design ends up in silicon sooner than you'd think

•Self-driven, a bit unconventional, and excited to co-create Electromobility 2.0 at system level and below

YOUR TASKS

•Clarity and precision: Describe the tasks as Developing and managing synthesis and implementation flows for FPGA and ASIC systems

•Designing HDL code with SystemVerilog and/or VHDL to map advanced control logic into hardware

•Simulating and optimizing digital logic for performance, area, and power

•Interfacing tightly with software, algorithm, and architecture teams to create coherent system designs

•Preparing and documenting design flows for future ASIC transfer

•Supporting test and bring-up of new hardware in the lab

•Collaborating with our semiconductor partner to evaluate and test candidate features on FPGA

•Actively participating in shaping the new Pulsetrain chip – a game-changing automotive-grade component to power the smart battery systems of Electromobility 2.0 from day one.
