The role

We're looking for a driven SDR with 1–2 years of outbound sales experience to join our commercial team. There's no rigid playbook handed to you, you'll help build it. If you want real ownership, a fast feedback loop, and the chance to sell something that actually matters, this is for you.

What you'll do

  • Lead Generation & Qualification: Independently manage outreach to decision-makers at European utilities - from first touch to qualification - while refining targeting and messaging strategies.

  • Pipeline Ownership: Independently manage your own outbound pipeline from prospecting to qualified demo, end to end.

  • Outbound execution: Qualify prospects using a structured framework and book high-quality demos for the Account Executive team and attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build pipeline and represent Podero.

  • Market Scouting: Research trends, players, and partnership opportunities in the European energy and tech landscape to feed into sales and product strategies.

  • Sales Process Development: Help build and continuously improve our early-stage sales playbook, including pipeline structure, CRM workflows, and outreach sequences.

  • Sales Meeting Support: Prepare, join, and debrief client meetings-taking ownership of follow-ups and internal summaries to ensure alignment and momentum.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Customer Success, Marketing, and Operations to ensure a seamless customer journey from first contact through onboarding.

What we're looking for

  • 1–2 years of experience in SDR, BDR, outbound sales, or a comparable customer-facing role

  • A track record of hitting or exceeding outreach targets (calls, emails, qualified demos booked)

  • Hands-on experience with a CRM, HubSpot experience is a strong plus

  • AI-native: you already use AI tools in your daily work and stay current on what's new, for research, personalization, writing, and prospecting

  • Comfortable running cold outreach across phone, email, and LinkedIn and iterating on what works

  • Outgoing, resilient, and self-motivated: you handle rejection and come back sharper

  • Genuine curiosity about the energy industry and B2B SaaS sales

  • Fluency in German and English is required. Additional languages (e.g. CEE languages, Italian, French, Spanish) are a plus

  • Open to full-time or part-time engagement, we're flexible for the right person
