What We're Looking For

1. Educational & Professional Foundation

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years in B2BSaaS solutions architecture, systems engineering, technical delivery, or pre‑sales within SaaS/B2B2C companies.

2. Technical & Domain Expertise

  • Deep understanding of SaaS platform architecture, RESTAPIs, cloud-native patterns, and scalable infrastructure.
  • Skilled in designing secure, scalable, and high-performance systems with long-term maintainability.
  • Familiarity with data privacy, compliance, and security best practices in cloud environments.

3. Integration & System Orchestration

  • Experience integrating complex systems such as CRMs, ERPs, IoT platforms, VPPs, and backend services.
  • Comfortable navigating legacy infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Ability to lead enterprise-grade integration efforts with minimal supervision.

4. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Drive alignment between customers, Sales, Product, and Engineering during presales, onboarding, and rollout phases.
  • Serve as the technical translator between commercial goals and technical implementation—ensuring expectations are clear and achievable on both sides.
  • Lead technical discovery calls, write solution briefs, and co-own customer success KPIs with sales and post-sales teams.
  • Confident communicator in enterprise meetings, technical workshops, and executive readouts.
  • Ability to influence decision-makers internally and externally through clear articulation of trade-offs, timelines, and technical dependencies.

5. Project Delivery & Client Success

  • Hands-on experience running software deployments: from kickoff to successful go-live and continuous improvement.
  • Skilled in producing technical documentation, diagrams, and training material to support scaling.
  • Experience setting and tracking KPIs during onboarding and rollout phases.

6. Strategic Insight & Continuous Improvement

  • Comfort with iterating on architecture based on usage data and utility feedback.
  • Ability to turn complex challenges into reusable solution patterns.
  • Proactive in surfacing product gaps and recommending roadmap improvements.

7. Soft Skills & Team Dynamics

  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving capability.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation habits.
  • Thrives in fast-moving, cross-functional teams with high agency and ownership.
  • Bonus: AWS/Azure Solutions Architect certifications, TOGAF, or domain-specific credentials.

Your Tasks

You are the technical spearhead in the sales and onboarding journey. You make customers successful from demo to launch.

  • Architect optimal solution designs for our API, white-label app, and grid trading use cases
  • Own the customer onboarding process with utility engineering teams
  • Translate utility needs into configurations or product feature requests
  • Run pilot programs and ensure KPIs are met (device connection, trading readiness, cost savings)
  • Guide utilities through device integration (API, gateway, etc.) and backend system alignment (VPPs, ERPs, CRMs)
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and trading teams to ensure smooth integrations and scaleups
  • Educate and challenge utility IT, product, and trading teams on best practices in device flexibility and market participation
  • Deliver technical documentation, solution diagrams, and training sessions

About Podero
