Planet A is looking for a working student to assist us with our communications and platform efforts (f/m/n).

Planet A Ventures supports European green tech startups that have a significant positive impact on our planet. The fund’s mission is to promote an economy within the planetary boundaries by focusing on four key areas of innovation: climate mitigation, waste reduction, resource savings and biodiversity protection. Planet A relies on rigorous scientific impact assessments to inform investment decisions and empower founders to manage and improve their impact.

We are looking for a creative mind who is highly motivated to create a positive impact. Not every VC fund engages in communications, but for us, it is key to drive true change. At Planet A you will become part of the solution by helping us spread the word and make scientific impact investing the new normal. You will also get to meet inspiring founders, gain valuable knowledge on brand, PR, social media and, of course, climate tech.

Do you want to help build the economy our planet needs? Here is how you could support Planet A:

• Support planning and executing the monthly communications plan
• Social media management on LinkedIn, which includes content creation together with our graphic designer, as well as reporting
• Support event planning and execution
• Research and content creation: draft posts, articles and newsletters
• Supporting the creation of our annual Impact Report
• Website management
• Work with our platform team to support our startups by conducting research, writing newsletters, and organising events

• Enrolled in a university degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations or similar. Availability at least for 1 year.
• First professional experience in communication, climate tech or venture capital (internship or working student) is required
• Familiarity with the European startup scene as well as the relevant media outlets surrounding the topic of start-ups, founders and entrepreneurship is a nice-to-have
• Strong written and strong verbal communication skills
• A self-starter with a hands-on mentality who can work independently and take initiative
• Fluent in English (our content is produced in English); German is a plus
• Contribute ideas for compelling stories

• Minimum 15 hours per week.

• As we are set up as a remote company you can work from wherever. If you are in Berlin, you will have access to the Planet A hub in Mitte if you like.
