We are looking for a motivated and talented working student to assist us with our data-related tasks at Planet A. In this role, you will have the chance to work at the crossroads of data engineering and business analytics, helping shape our data structure and laying the groundwork for our future success. You will collaborate with both the Investment and Platform teams to harness the power of data in accelerating the growth of climate tech!

• Duration: minimum 6 months, ideally 12 months.
• Part-time (10-15 hours)
• Location: Flexible within the EU. You are also welcomed to join us in our Berlin office. Please note that we cannot provide visa support to our Working Students.

Task

• Build new workflows and automations using low code tools
• Perform data cleaning tasks and build data pipelines
• Harmonize and maintain data infrastructure
• Integrate APIs into our processes
• Create dashboards and Airtable bases
• Assist with basic analytics tasks, such as the integration of machine learning in deal-flow evaluation
• Collaborate with stakeholders across teams, including the investment team and platform

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science.
• Development skills and familiarity with low code/no code environments
• First experience with software development and ML projects
• Familiarity with Node.js/JavaScript and SQL
• Process Mindset
• Ability to work autonomously and take initiative
• Plus Points:
  • Experience in building data analytics systems and databases, maintaining complex scraping pipelines
  • Experience in building and deploying full-stack apps using modern JS frameworks and RESTful APIs.
  • Basic understanding of climate tech as well as venture capital.

• This is a part-time position with flexible working hours (10-15 hours/week)
• The position is remote, allowing you to work from anywhere
• There may be opportunities for a master's thesis project related to basic analytics tasks, such as integrating machine learning in deal-flow evaluation
