The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Sales Manager to drive commercial growth across the business.

This position is responsible for market development, generating sales from new leads and growing existing accounts.

We are looking for a talented, driven, sustainability minded person to join our fast growing company.

Given the remote first nature of our team, this role can be based anywhere in Europe, but you will need to be available to travel to customer visits and the Holm based facility at least monthly.

  • You're an expert with technical understanding of the flexible packaging and/or paper industries space, who can be an asset to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • You’re able to drive new customer acquisition and expand existing customer commercial activity to maximize revenue growth.
  • You have the ability to identify market opportunities and formulate sales tactics.
  • You have experience developing accurate sales forecasts and delivering against those targets.
  • High level negotiation and influencing skills
  • Highly motivated , fast learner, excited of market penetration challenges
  • Fluent in German and English, additional languages is an advantage
  • Ability to travel throughout Europe (min once per month)


Who You Are


  • You have extensive experience in the commercial packaging sector (flexible or paper packaging preferred)
  • Proven experience delivering aggressive growth and sales development, mainly generating new accounts via direct sales to large brands. Expanded existing customers' activity via up-sale of new products.
  • Experience selling to CPGs, retailers and SMBs
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for positive engagement
  • Ideally a university degree (or equivalent relevant field experience) in business, packaging or sustainability


Hiring Process

  • Review. Your application will be reviewed and if successful at this stage, the Hiring Manager will schedule a call with you shortly. If you are unsuccessful at this stage, we shall contact you as soon as a decision about your application has been made.
  • Introductory Call . The Hiring Manager will give you a brief introduction to one.five, and then move on to ask you about your experiences, followed by a check to ensure that the role, salary and seniority on offer match your expectations. The call will be wrapped up with a definition of next steps.
  • Company Culture-Add Call. If successful after the Introductory Call, the Hiring Manager will organise for a call with another team member to take place where you will discuss current company culture; how your skills and personality might complement or “add” to the current team; how employee well-being is managed and tracked at one.five and what expectations the team has for your role.
  • Final Call with the Founder(s). Success at the Company Culture-Add Call stage will bring you to your final call, which will take place with both Founders , either together, or potentially separately to accommodate everyone’s schedules, providing you with a solid understanding of the future aims and aspirations of the company.
