Rethinking methanol: efficient, green, revolutionary.

With our innovative process based on homogeneous catalysis, we are rethinking methanol: efficient, green and forward-looking.

Be there when we set the next milestone - on the way to the industrial production of green methanol:
Green methanol starts here - with you, if

  • You want to help shaping processes, creatively solve technical challenges and make a real impact?
  • You would like to put your technical skills to work on electrical, chemical, and mechanical tasks—from laying cables and replacing components to operating a chemical test facility?
  • You dream of running a workshop independently?
  • You find it exciting to maintain research facilities and repair small components - and always learn something new in the process?
  • You enjoy metalwork, e.g. tube bending or machining activities?
  • You want to work in an environment that relies on reliability and precision - e.g. when adhering to maintenance schedules and quality standards?
  • You are looking to work on an equal footing with chemists, engineers and technicians in interdisciplinary teams?
  • You like to work responsibly and safety-consciously, especially in accordance with the relevant occupational health and safety and environmental standards?
  • You don't just want to work on machines, but also want to understand and help shape the underlying processes?

Then we look forward to meeting you!
You have ...

  • training as a mechatronics technician, process engineer, chemical technician, industrial mechanic
  • Experience in the maintenance and repair of chemical production plants
  • Practice in working with pumps, valves and piping systems
  • Basic knowledge of measurement, control and regulation technology
  • Working with pressure, temperature and flow sensors
  • Know-how in metal working (e.g. pipe bending, machining activities)
  • Electrical switching authorization or relevant practical experience in electrical engineering

Nice to have (not a must, but a plus):

  • Experience with PLC controls (e.g. Siemens S7 / TIA Portal)
  • Knowledge of handling toxic and explosive gases
  • Experience in tube bending (1/8“ - 3/4”) incl. reading isometrics
  • Know-how in Swagelok systems or similar (Hylok, Fitok)
  • Practical experience with research setups or in a laboratory environment
